Beloved husband of Kathleen Sanders (née Romano); cherished father of Jean, Richard, Kathleen and the late Kristin; loving grandfather of Adam, Nicholas, Sierra, Gavin, Austin and Zachary and great-grandfather of Addison and Logan; brother of Patrick (Susan) and brother-in-law of Deborah, Joseph (Deborah) and the late Sharon; dearest God Father of David, Jared, Melissa and Holly; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 30th from 12 Noon - 6:00 PM at LOOMIS, OFFERS & LOOMIS INC. FUNERAL HOME (Hamburg Chapel) 207 Main Street, where a service will be held at 4:30 PM. Flowers gratefully declined, memorial contributions in Bill’s honor may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Bill was a police officer for the City of Buffalo for 21 years. He was also a life long member of the Knights of Columbus- Council #2220.
