Eugene in his teen years worked as a coal miner in West Virginia, worked for National Fuel 40 years, Past Commander twice of VFW Post 5260 Springville, Cuban Missile Crisis Veteran in the Army discharged as NCO, loved the outdoors and volunteering his time with the youth and their activities in football and BSA. He played sports in high school and during his life and was known for his work ethics and loyalty to core values and heritage. The family will receive friends Tuesday, 4-8 PM, at LOOMIS, OFFERS & LOOMIS, INC., HAMBURG CHAPEL, 207 Main Street, with prayers being said after visitation.
