MONACO- Albert “Al”

of Hamburg, NY entered into rest on March 14, 2026. Beloved husband of Suzanne (nee Bernacki) Monaco; loving father of Christopher (Kelley) and Jonathan (Ebony) Monaco; cherished Papa of Anthony, Nicholas and Diana (Alex); son of the late Paul and Giovanna (nee Santangelo) Monaco; dearest brother of the late Viola (Nicola) Liberto, Emma (Ascenzio "Tony") Peccia and Edmund (Pamela) Monaco; Brother-in-law of Diane (Joseph) Calderon, Nancy (Alan) Doyle, and the late Sharon Occhiuto. Also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends. No prior visitation. Everyone is invited to attend a funeral mass at St. Francis of Assisi RC Church, 4263 St. Francis Dr, Hamburg NY on Monday March 23, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Albert's memory may be made to the ECMC Foundation at www.ecmc.edu. Al was a retired Lackawanna Police Detective where he also served as PBA President for many years. He was very active in the local Conservative Party and operated several businesses during his lifetime.
