Beloved husband of Nancy Maressa (nee Martin) ; cherished father of Deborah (John) Tronolone and Susan (Patrick English) Maressa; dearest grandpa of Emily and Lauren Tronolone; brother of James (Pat) Maressa, Jerome Maressa and Joseph Maressa; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Thursday, September 29th from 4-8 PM at LOOMIS, OFFERS & LOOMIS INC. FUNERAL HOME (Hamburg Chapel) 207 Main Street. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 30th at 10:30 AM at Saints Peter and Paul R.C. Church- Hamburg, NY. Please assemble at church. Flowers gratefully declined, memorials to Hospice Buffalo Inc. Dr. Maressa was a dental officer in the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam. Upon return, Dr. Maressa earned his pediatric dentistry speciality at Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, where he taught for over 15 years along side his private practice in Hamburg, NY until 2002.
