Eleanor C. Kraft (née Hensel)

of Hamburg, NY. Passed away peacefully on July 9, 2026 at the age of 101 years old. Beloved wife of the late George Kraft; cherished mother of Karen (Francis) Winter, Kathleen Tibbetts, George (Brenda) Kraft and Michael (Stacia) Kraft; beloved grandmother of Jeremy and Jason Winter, Jill (Stephen) Reese, Larry (Laura) Tibbetts, Daniel Kraft, Juliana (Chad Murph) Kraft, John, Ilsa and Oskar Kraft and great-grandmother of Brianna and Jacob Reese; dearest sister of the late Lester and Herbert Hensel and Irene Faltisko; loving sister-in-law of the late Betty Hensel, Patricia Hensel, Ann Hensel and Francis Faltisko; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. No prior visitation. Funeral services will be held privately on Friday, July 17th at Woodlawn Cemetery. Eleanor grew up in Eden, NY, was a 1942 graduate of Eden Central High School and attended the Hill School of Business in Buffalo. Eleanor worked in the Eden Central School District and St. John’s UCC, where she raised her family. In her later years, she volunteered at Faith UCC in Boston, NY. In recent years, Eleanor was cared for by the loving staff at Elderwood Assisted Living in Hamburg. Funeral arrangements entrusted to LOOMIS, OFFERS & LOOMIS INC. FUNERAL HOME (Hamburg Chapel).
