IRENE KATHERINE HOLDERMILLER passed away on January 19th, 2021 two weeks shy of her 99th birthday. Irene was the daughter of Katherine and Carl Kehlhof of Buffalo, NY owners of the Kehlhof bakeries of South Buffalo. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband of 56 years, Lewis W. Holdermiller, former organist and musical director at the Hamburg Methodist Church. Irene was also pre-deceased by her sister, Grace Wahl of Hamburg and her brother, Alden Kehlhof of Texas.
Irene is survived by daughters Diane Mulvey of Milford, NJ, Luanne Oldsen (John) of Loudon, TN, Robyn Eaton (David) of Warwick, NY, Sandy Snitz (Irwin) of Sun City, AZ, and son Geoffrey Holdermiller of Glendale, AZ, her niece Carolyn Wahl Galen of Webster, NY, nephews Carl Wahl of Hamburg, NY, Carl Weaver of Lady Lake, FL, nine grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
Irene dedicated her life to her family and friends. She is at peace and is now joined with the love of her life in eternal rest.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Loomis, Offers, and Loomis Funeral Home in Hamburg, NY. A family celebration of Irene’s life will be held in the fall. Interment will be at the Acacia Park Cemetery in Tonawanda, NY, where she will rest next to her beloved husband.
