EVANS- Chick George J. Jr.

Of South Buffalo. September 5, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Patricia Ann (Nee Donovan) Evans. Loving father of Maureen, Chick III (Lauryn) and Karen (Michael) Kwietniak. Cherished Bapa of Swarupa Evans & Matthew Kwietniak; dearest brother of Laurie Evans and the late Mary Ellen (Thomas) McCarthy; Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Chick was a proud member of the Blackthorn Club of South Buffalo, Knights of Columbus "Msgr. Nash Council", he collected antique automobiles, trains, and old radios. He worked on board the Edward M. Cotter Fireboat (His Dream Job) as the Assistant Marine Engineer and retired in 1996 along with his career of employment with the City of Buffalo. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 8th from 3 to 7 PM at LOOMIS, OFFERS & LOOMIS, INC. FUNERAL HOME (Memorial Chapel) 1820 Seneca Street South Buffalo, NY 14210. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Saint Martin of Tours RC Church, 1140 Abbott Rd. Buffalo, NY 14220 on Tuesday at 11:30 AM (please assemble at Church).
