Ed age 70, beloved husband of Nancy (Risbon) of 43 years. Son of the Late Edward V and the late Dorothy (Heinen). Brother of Dennis (Julie) Ryan and the late Michael “Doc” Ryan. Dear uncle to Timothy Ryan and Kerry (Ryan) Daigle. Close family members Sharon and Paul Sullivan. Loving father of his faithful dog Katie and Corky the parrot.
Ed was born and raised in South Buffalo in the Seneca street neighborhood. He was a member of St. Teresa’s parish. Hegraduated from South Park High School in 1972.
He was employed at the NY State Department of Transportation-Hamburg Garage. Working there for 38 yearsand retired as a Foreman for the paving crew.
It was during that time he met the love of his life Nancy. They settled down in the Town of Boston. Ed enjoyed listening to music and reading. He was an avid NASCAR fan.
Ed fought a courageous battle against lung cancer for 4 years.He passed away while under Hospice care. Per Ed’s wishes private services were held at the convenience of the Family.
