DEKAY- Clinton “Deke” Richard

Born August 28th 1932 in Buffalo moved on to be with his wife of 60 years who passed 6 weeks to the day. Beloved husband to Linda, father to Laurie(2009), survived by son Clinton(Jr), Wife Giselle, children, Marcello, Susie and Leslie. Grandfather to Torie and Tatianna.

Deke graduated from Hamburg High and did 2 years in the army. Started his own business Western New York Tree Service then C R DeKay Landscaping. He loved to work and play on his equipment and used them right up to his death. Spent 5 years working at Accent Stripe and traveling around the country with his son working. He retired from there in 1996 and took up his hobby of fixing, collecting and selling toy trains. Him and mom spent over 20 years traveling the northeast going to shows.

A longtime member of the Armor Fire Dept, and chief for many years. He loved bingo nights and announcing the numbers. Summers were always fun , working with Armor at the fair and in charge of Safety for a while at Rich Stadium for all games and concerts.

He loved golfing with his family and grilling outside at his home. He loved taking care of his animals. He was loved and He will be missed.
