Went home to be with Jesus on October 20, 2022 in her home with her daughters by her side, after a long illness. Gloria was born in Smiths Falls, Ontario, Canada on April 16, 1932. Beloved wife of the late Rev. Carl W. Crate. Loving mother of Carolyn Ruth (late Peter McKnight), Mark James Crate, Ruth Gloria Manley, and Marcia Lynn Crate. Daughter of the late Harold Patterson and Laura May Gordon and the late sister Arlene Harvey. Cherished Grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends and family on October 29, 2022 from 2pm – 6pm at LOOMIS OFFERS & LOOMIS, INC, 1820 Seneca Street, Buffalo, NY 14210. All are invited to attend a celebration of her life that will be held at The Chapel, 500 Crosspoint Parkway, Getzville, NY 14068on October 30, 2022 at 2 pm. (please assemble at the Church). Memorial donations may be made in Gloria’s name to the City Mission.
