Donald C. Craiglow, 75, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2026, in the comfort of his home after a long battle with a chronic illness.

Donald was born on November 22, 1950, in Buffalo, New York, the son of the late James and Mildred Craiglow. He was raised in a loving household where values such as honesty and integrity were instilled from an early age. Don was a lifelong resident of West Seneca.

Don was a retired Deputy Officer with the Erie County Sheriffs Dept. His passion for firearms led him to own and operate one of the largest gun stores in Western New York, Craiglow’s Gun Shop. He had a deep love for craftsmanship, which showed in every project he took on - from building his own home to creating detailed LGB R&R railroad layouts.

He was well known for his sharp wit, mechanical skill, and his ability to fix just about anything. Don was also a motorcycle enthusiast and a proud member of the Harley Owners Group.

He will be remembered for his dedication, ingenuity, and the many things he built with his hands and heart.

Don is survived by his loving family and many friends who will miss him dearly. Relatives and friends may gather Thursday, March 19th , from 3-6PM, at LOOMIS, OFFERS & LOOMIS, INC. FUNERAL HOME (Memorial Chapel) 1820 Seneca St., Buffalo, NY 14210. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to The Michael J. Fox Foundation.
