Robert J. Bryndle, 83, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2026, with his loving wife by his side. Born on April 25, 1942 in Buffalo, New York, Bob lived a full and meaningful life marked by dedication to his family, service to his country, and a long-standing professional career.

After serving in the United States Army as a nurse, Bob went on to build a successful career as

a Nurse Anesthetist at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo. To this day, Bob is seen as a helper, as he has

devoted the last several years of his life by his wife’s side, making sure she was well taken care of.

Bob is survived by his wife, Carol (née Reed), with whom he created a beautiful life of love and

devotion. He is also survived by his 3 children Mark (Jess), Eric (Lauren), and Christine (Eric).

Living both near and far, Bob always made sure the family stayed connected.

Being a grandfather was perhaps Bob’s favorite “job”. Devon, Haliey, Trevor, and Rylan always

adored their Papa Bob. They will cherish the memories of the spontaneous shenanigans they

shared with him during his most carefree days.

Outside of his professional life, Bob found great enjoyment in playing golf and tennis. He could

often be found on the local courses hitting his drives straight as a nail every single time. His

crowning achievement was getting a hole-in-one at Cross Creek Resort back in 2007.

Bob will be deeply missed, but always remembered for the light he brought the lives around him.
