Barbara Ann Rodgers (nee Leffler)

Passed peacefully at the age of 83, surrounded by her family on October 13, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Robert L. Rodgers Sr; Devoted mother of Robert L.(Paula) Rodgers Jr., David Rodgers, and Kimberly (David) Imiola. Cherished grandmother of Lindsay (Jason) Springer, Ashlyn (Nicholas) Posenjak, Julia Rodgers, Quinn, Brady, and Paxton Imiola. A loving great-grandmother of four great grandchildren. Loving sister of Patricia Laudisio (nee Leffler). Preceded in death by her parents, George and Margaret (nee Augustine) Leffler. Barbara earned her teaching degree in Elementary Education from Buffalo State College. She worked for many years as a substitute teacher and finished her career as a preschool teacher in West Seneca. Barbara was a faithful member of St. Peter’s UCC. She was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and was an original season ticket holder with her husband Bob. Barbara loved bowling, traveling with friends, and playing cards. Friends may call Wednesday, October 18th, from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at LOOMIS, OFFERS & LOOMIS INC. FUNERAL HOME (Memorial Chapel) 1820 Seneca St. Buffalo, NY 14210. Funeral service to be held Thursday, October 19th at 11 AM at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ- 1475 Orchard Park Rd. West Seneca. Funeral procession to Lakeside Cemetery immediately following service.
