McGUIRE- Jeanette M. (née Cleesattel)

Aug 22, 1920 - Aug 2, 2024 of Hamburg, NY. Passed away peacefully at the age of 103 on August 2, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Joseph T. McGuire, cherished mother of Joseph R McGuire; loving grandmother of Robert J. (Janelle) McGuire and great-grandmother of Meagan Radoani; dearest sister of the late Rosalind (Paul) Yeager. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 7th from 1-4 PM at LOOMIS, OFFERS & LOOMIS INC. FUNERAL HOME (Hamburg Chapel) 207 Main Street where a service will be held at 3:30 PM. Jeanette was a resident of the Village of Hamburg for 80 years. She was an endeared and beloved third grade teacher at Windom Elementary School in the Orchard Park School District for 34 years. Jeanette and her family were also well regarded in the Hamburg community running their family business, the historic Bayview Beach Hotel. She will also be fondly remembered for reading, crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, Friday afternoon bridge and Sunday family dinners. Jeanette loved her long life feathered friend of 48 years, Sam. The family welcomes donations to the Hamburg Volunteer Fire Department or the Hamburg Village Police Department in lieu of flowers.
